Delete your account and data

This page is for users of the Tennis Girls Social Club mobile app (the app developed and offered by Tennis Girls Social Club, as shown on the App Store and Google Play). It explains how to request deletion of your account and associated data, what we remove, and what may be kept for a limited time or by our service providers.
How to request account deletion
Option A — In the app (fastest)
- Open Tennis Girls Social Club and sign in.
- Go to the Profile tab, then tap the settings (gear) icon.
- Open Delete Account and follow the prompts. You will be asked to type DELETE to confirm.
- After confirmation, your account and associated app data are permanently removed from our systems as described below.
Option B — By email
If you cannot access the app, email us at tennisgirlssocialclub@gmail.com from the email address on your account. Include “Account deletion request” in the subject line. We may need to verify your identity before we process the request.
What we delete
When you complete in-app account deletion or we process a verified email request, we aim to permanently delete:
- Your login and profile (including name, bio, skill level, photos, and related profile fields)
- Posts, comments, likes, and other content you created
- Direct messages and conversation data tied to your account
- Play requests you created or joined, and related invites or join requests
- Ratings you gave or received, blocks, and moderation records tied to your account
- Event RSVPs and completed game records associated with your account
- Identity verification requests and verification photos stored for your account
- Profile, post, and verification images stored in our file storage for your account
What may be kept and for how long
- Backups and security logs: Deleted information may persist for a limited time in encrypted backups or server logs. These copies are overwritten or aged out on a routine schedule (typically within up to 90 days), except where a longer period is required for security or legal reasons.
- Aggregated or de-identified data: We may retain statistics that do not identify you individually.
- Payment and subscription records: Purchases are processed by Apple App Store and Google Play. We use RevenueCat for subscription status. Those providers may retain transaction records under their own privacy policies and retention practices; deleting your Tennis Girls Social Club account does not delete your Apple or Google purchase history.
- Legal holds: If we are required to preserve information (for example by law or to protect rights and safety), we may retain specific data beyond the periods above until the obligation ends.
