Privacy Policy
Last Updated: April 2, 2026
Tennis Girls Social Club ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application, our website, and related online services (together, the "Services").
1. Information We Collect
Personal Information
We collect information that you provide directly to us, including:
- Name, email address, and phone number
- Profile information (age, skill level, bio, photos)
- Location data (when you enable location services)
- Identity verification materials (for account verification)
- Messages and communications with other users
- Posts, comments, and other content you create
- Event RSVPs (when you RSVP for club events)
Automatically Collected Information
When you use our Services, we automatically collect certain information, including:
- Device information (device type, operating system, and identifiers our service providers use to run the app, deliver notifications, and diagnose technical issues)
- Usage data (features used, time spent, interactions)
- Location data (if you grant location permissions)
- Log data (IP address, access times, app crashes and errors)
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve our Services
- Connect you with other tennis players in your area
- Facilitate court bookings and match arrangements
- Send you notifications about matches, messages, and app updates
- Verify your identity and maintain platform safety
- Process subscriptions and in-app purchases and manage access to premium features
- Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support
- Detect, prevent, and address technical issues and security threats
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms
3. Advertising, Analytics, and Tracking
No sale of personal information; no data brokers. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with data brokers.
Cross-app advertising tracking. We do not use your information to track you across apps, websites, or devices owned by other companies for their advertising, including the type of "tracking" described in Apple's App Tracking Transparency rules. We do not show you the App Tracking Transparency prompt on iOS because we do not collect or use your data for that cross-app advertising tracking purpose.
Our own analytics and diagnostics. We and our processors may collect limited technical and usage information to operate the Services, fix crashes, understand aggregate product usage, and improve reliability. That activity is first-party and service-related—not for profiling you across third-party apps or sites for advertising.
Subscriptions. In-app purchases are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to associate your subscription status with your account so we can unlock premium features. That processing is for billing and entitlement management, not for cross-app advertising tracking.
4. Information Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:
With Other Users — Your profile information (name, photos, skill level, bio) is visible to other users of the app to facilitate connections and match arrangements. You can control profile visibility in Settings → Privacy Settings.
Event RSVPs — When you RSVP for an event, your name and email are shared with our admin team for event planning and attendance tracking. This information is used solely to manage events and is not shared with other users.
Service Providers — We may share information with third-party service providers who process data on our behalf, including:
- Cloud storage, authentication, and database (Supabase)
- In-app subscription and purchase management (RevenueCat)
- Crash and error reporting (Sentry)
- Location and places search (Google Maps / Google Places API)
- Email delivery, when we send transactional or service-related messages
These providers are contractually required to use your information only to provide services to us and in line with this policy and applicable law.
Legal Requirements — We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government regulation, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our users.
Business Transfers — In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the acquiring entity.
5. Data Storage and Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption of data in transit and at rest, secure authentication, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Identity Verification Data
When you submit identity verification materials:
- Verification images are reviewed only by our internal admin team
- Images are securely stored and deleted within 30 days of verification
- Verification materials are never shared with other users or third parties
- We may retain non-identifying verification records for operational and security purposes
